Today we turn sixteen. The Friday thing is just a bonus <3. This has been a real trip.
I never intended to be in this business. I found it by accident, not unlike others, by saying ‘yes’ to an opportunity that I didn’t fully understand. I didn’t realize it would be the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.

During the course of business and business-adjacent activities, I’ve met people who would become some of my closest friends. I’d later realize that they had become my chosen family and that you fight your hardest when you’re fighting for your family or defending your home.

I’d like to thank everyone who has hired and fired me. I’ve learned so much from each of you and I deeply appreciate your willingness to take a chance on me. I’d also like to thank the shops that stuck with me when times got tough. Yes, advertising is resilient, but an EP with a vision and a team bought into that vision is bulletproof. I’ve said before that talent wins the battle, but leadership wins the war. I’ve been fortunate to be in business with some of the finest leaders out there; people that I admire and try to emulate; people that inspire and instill confidence; people that you will go to the mat for…you know who you are.

TLDR version: we’re still here and we couldn’t have done it alone.
